The Ukrainian telecom operator Prosat has completed the construction of more than 100 base stations to launch 4G network in Ukraine. The network, based on the McWiLL® technology of Xinwei Group, covers Kiev city and area between Kharkov and Mariupol in eastern Ukraine.
“The McWiLL® technology provides significant advantages for its users. Our network is protected, it cannot be eavesdropped or jammed. Moreover, the user's location cannot be determined, all these functions meet the requirements of the Ukrainian military, security services and medical personnel,” Sergei Yakovenko, the Prosat Director General, said.
Xinwei Group together with Prosat implement a project on creation of mobile broadband multimedia communication network that provides secure communication, as well as the collection and transmission of telemetric information in Ukraine.
